Pride Month officially starts Thursday, but celebrations are already underway across Buffalo and Western New York. The Pride flag is flying in Niagara Square after a flag-raising ceremony was held Tuesday. On Thursday, Niagara County will raise Pride flags in a showing of love and acceptance at ArtPark in Lewiston, Niagara Falls State Park, Niagara Falls City Hall, NCCC in Sanborn, and the city of Lockport. Pride events will be held all month long throughout Western New York, including the annual parade and festival, happening Sunday in downtown Buffalo.
